January Planning

Well, it’s the first work day of a new year, a new month, a new quarter, a new week….time to get working.

How do you plan for the work you intend to do, if you work from home, or if you are an entrepreneur?

I have my awesome planners that I have filled out (see my previous post for details) and that have given me great focus on what I want to accomplish this year.  Once I had my list of things that I wanted to accomplish, I needed to put them in a “to-do” list.

I completed a document with yearly goals.  Then, I converted the yearly goals to monthly goals.  Then, I took the monthly goals and divided them up into the weeks of January to get my weekly to do list.  Then, I entered each item on a specific day in my daily agenda so that I could actually cross them off once I had done them – I LOVE crossing things off a list!  It’s so satisfying.

I’ll let you know next week how I did on my list this week.
