New Free Promotion Tool

I recently picked up a copy of Wesley Atkins’ KDROI and I thought I would post my review of it.

KDROI is the “sister” product of KindleSpy, also created by my friend, Wesley, and is fantastic for promoting your free book promos.  It literally takes just 2 minutes per book and increases downloads (and Amazon rankings) a great deal.  A must have for kindle publishers.

It is really easy to install as it’s a Chrome extension, just like KindleSpy is.  Once it’s installed, you just go to your KDP dashboard and set up a free promo and then go to your book’s sales page on Amazon.  Simply click on the KDROI icon in your Chrome browser toolbar and enter 2 or 3 items and click Submit.  Done!  It’s super fast and I no longer have to get a Fiverr gig to submit for me, or submit manually myself to all of those sites, which could take hours.

Another thing I love about Wes is that he only charges a one-time fee for his products and gives free lifetime updates.  So, I am particularly interested in the KDROI updates.

If you’ve read my previous blog posts, you know that I have found my free promos are not doing as well as they used to.  It takes more than 1 day (and sometimes as many as 5) and a lot of promotion outside of Amazon to get the same results I used to get in the beginning of my kindle publishing career.

I am working on strategies for both $0.99 promotions as well as promotions for perma-free books.  And guess what?  So is Wesley!  I was so happy to hear from him that his first updates to KDROI will be to add $0.99 promo sites and perma-free promo sites.  I just know that this is going to be my new favorite promotion tool!
