August Planning
I am back from my camping/beach holiday and ready to work! It was the perfect week for a holiday – hot and sunny every day. We only had rain one evening.
The first thing I did when I got back from the beach was to plan out my month. I took stock of what I published or accomplished in July and made a list of what I wanted to complete during the month of August. Also, I updated my catalogue of published books and revised my 2015 publishing calendar.
As usual, I had high hopes for July, but didn’t meet my goals. I had hoped to publish about 12-14 books, but did publish a bunch. My publishing company published the following:
- 3 new scenery journals
- 2 new children’s mystery books
- the final book in the Remembering Raven series as well as a collection of the last four books in the series (by Lacey Edward), and
- our first audio book, Hollywood Homicides (by Riley Lucas)
I have tried to make August’s schedule more realistic. There are only 3-4 items per week, so I’m hoping to complete most of them this month.
If you would like your own copy of this document to complete for your publishing business, I created a blank one just for you! Here it is – enjoy!
